Tin

Tin was born in New York City, but hails Los Angeles as her home city of the past 15 years. As a young teenager, she started learning to pluck melodies out of her mother's old classical guitar with a missing string. Her music is most times born without intentional process through an unexpected collaborative intervention of random thought, nostalgic reminiscence, and existential social commentary. She very much enjoys her dear dear family and friends, bicycle riding, rock climbing, connectedness, and the complete and utter exaltation of the human spirit. Attributing her musical emergence to the support and creative talents of fellow artists Justin Shelp and Johanna Chase, she continues to concoct her sound around and within dynamic, passionate life. She had never heard of Joanna Newsom until just recently, but appreciates the comparison a lot..
